EgoSecure customer satisfaction survey 2016

Usability and low training costs are most important for IT security software users

EgoSecure has conducted an online survey of around 1,100 customers in German speaking countries in the period of May to June 2016. The survey was carried out to determine the general customer viewpoint on IT security issues as well as to gather feedback on customer satisfaction. 10 percent of the customers participated in the survey. Customer satisfaction was ranked very high: about 94 percent of all customers would purchase EgoSecure products again, and 93 percent of all customers would recommend EgoSecure to other companies.
More than 95 percent of EgoSecure customers put usability first (assessed as important to very important) when general customer viewpoint on IT security software is considered. More than 90 percent assess low training costs for users in IT security software as important to very important. And more than 87 percent of EgoSecure customers put “minimal training for administrators” third. After all, 74 percent of respondents consider “short installation time for basic protection” as important to very important.
“We are very pleased that we gained customer satisfaction and approval of our products. Of course we will, however, take all the criticism from the survey into account,” explains Sergej Schlotthauer, CEO of EgoSecure. “From the very beginning of product development, we have focused on creating software that is easy to administrate and easy to use, while training costs would be minimal. It really was not easy to make complicated things simple, but it was worth the effort, because customers clearly share our vision and priorities. More than 94 percent of customers say that our solution is the best on the market that truly makes us feel proud”.
